Introduction to film making

During this introductory lesson we established the criteria that each of us had to achieve once our final product would be finished. In this lesson we read through the options that we could possibly take in our A2 coursework. The intial main ideas were between a 5 minute short film or a documentary, in order for me to make that decision I paired with another member of my Media class, Ashleigh. We decided to take the creative route and choose option number 10, which is to create a short 5 minute film. We chose this option because it allowed us to create any type of media product in any style that we wished.

Me and my partner wish to follow a surrealism approach, we want to do this because its visual artistic substance. We liked to follow the element of suprise and we want to follow a unique approach. Our main aim is to present the way teenagers are portrayed in the media, and sometimes their 'bad representations' we also wanted to portray how modern teenagers find it hard to express or discover their identity's.
