First draft of Poster and screen shots

This is me and my partners first draft to our poster. The reason we followed a abstract route is because it stresses on the postmodern struggle of identity. We chose to combine three different characters because it compliments our production title called "Who am I?". To create this poster we took three individual photos, the first being the photo featured in the last blog post, I then used photoshop to cut out the laptop screen. We then took two different shots, and combined them together on photoshop. This was a long and challenging process, this is because I had to make sure that both of the characters facial features were aligned together. I then seperated each part of the face with the magic brush. And finally I put the two combined face in the space of the laptop screen to create this abstract poster. We believe that it will target our Niche market because young adults/ teenagers are interested in postmodern and stylish products.

The reason why we have featured three different people in our poster (even though we only feature one person in our film) is because we wanted to represent a collective group of people. Although our film only shows the struggle of one characters identity, we are still portraying the greater struggle for identity in youth generally. Therefore by incoporating three characters emphasises the collective scale of struggle, whilst in the film it portrays the person scale of struggle.
