Me and my partner thought it would be a good idea to consider, if we were to distribute our film, what kind of institution that we would approach. Because our production takes a artistic approach we researched into the independent art house institutes. This Niche seems to favour art and unique types of films, which is what we consider our product to fit into within the market. We believe our product fits very well into the a independent route because it does not follow a conventional commercial film that is normally distributed in cinemas. We wanted to target the audience of youth, this is important when producing our film. As we must engage and interest the Niche audience.
