I researched into articles, below are some examples of the kind of portrayals I want to cover in my film.

This helps me to establish what kind of generilisation that the media depicts the youth to oblige to. After establishing these portrayals it allows me to add the emotion and the act to my production. This is because the production is strongly influenced by the way youth is presented in the media.

In further detail I read the book Media and Crime in my spare time, I particuarly looked at the Moral Panic Model and the becoming of teenagers in the 1950s. This relates to my exam work as it investigates into the youth, and it also strongly compliments my media coursework. The Moral Panic Model relates to my production because it suggests that young people are the catalyst to change and fear, which has been presented in the media since the becoming of teenagers. Therefore in my production it will show that the stereotypical portrayal of the youth.
